Constellation Scorpius (The Scorpion)

Scorpius or The Scorpion is one of the 88 constellations modern astronomers have divided the sky into. It's part of the Zodiac constellation family. Scorpius is best seen in July (from latitudes +40° to -90°)

Unlike many constellations, Scorpius very much resembles its namesake animal from its wide pincer armed head to a torso represented by bright Antares, and a twisted tail that ends with the bright star Shaula.
