I still cant believe you’ve left this earth. There are still some days its knocks the wind right out of me. I miss you every day and dream of you often. The world is a much different place without you in it, calling me “boopsie girl” and believing in me even when i didn’t believe in my self. And if i didn’t succeed, that was ok to because you always made it clear you would love me regardless. You know what’s funny, i even miss the things you did that annoyed me. Well Barb, you’re the first one to reach that star that we used to talk about in our “dreamland” stories as kids-that beautiful land of fields and trees and rabbits-remember the morning that we discovered that Linka had eaten the gingerbread? That was so funny! It’s been a long time since I traveled that magical moonbeam on the windowsill…but wait for me, I’ll be there.

I have grown to know you so well over the last 10 years, you have shown me tons of love and appreciation for the way I treat your daughter and it meant a lot to me to have your approval. I remember taking you Christmas shopping a few years in a row and the amount of thought and consideration you put into your gifts always amazed me and showed me how much your loved your family.
Do you remember when I wrapped buddy completely in streamers and a card to surprise you on your birthday?? I do! you couldn’t get over how funny it was. I loved when you laughed, it was contagious.
I will never forget you and miss you dearly, and I know your in a great place now.

It’s me Again…. I hear you calling my name Everyday. I’m not sure what you wanna say but I’m leaving the window open every night in case you wanted to visit me. I’m sleeping with your shirt because it smells like you and ill leave your perfume out so you can find it if you need it. When your wings are strong enough come see Londie she’s been acting up lately. And yes you were right she is light years ahead of herself so she’s reached the terrible two’s already. I know you said you wished a daughter like me on myself but geez you don’t have to help her be so mischievous. She’s playing with the picture you painted for her and dancing to all your favorite songs.
One last thing……… Please make your presence known in a big way when you do come I promise I won’t be scared.

I knew you when i was just a little girl living in seaside heights i used to come to your house with my mom and play with aubrey …its been a very long time since ive seen you and this is some pretty sad news to.hear of your passing…now your in a good place watching over your children and grandchildren. You are in my thoughts along with your family! You were a great women!

Rest in peace Barbara. You have raised beautiful and smart children, Especially my best friend Aubrea. My deepest sympathies go out to everyone.

I have so many memories of you from my childhood, your oldest daughters so close to my age. I was just talking about last night how I think nearly every time you visited us with KC that we somehow plotted a way to get her to sleep over. The first and only time I slept over your house I clearly remember you asking us to go get you coffee at the convenience store around the corner and you asking me if I knew how you liked it and you then telling me ‘light and sweet just like your mom’~ in fact that’s where I feel you are likely right now, sitting down to coffee with my mom watching over us all and probably laughing about how this or that one of us is doing something or other. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen you (my mom’s funeral actually) and I know what your girls are going thru and wish I could somehow find comfort to offer them. I will stop soon here tho as I’ve long since past ‘light and sweet’ in my message and here, and end on the comment that I take my coffee the same way!

Hoping your at peace and talking with my mom and nanny. My wishes go out to her girls and grandbaby, hope your hearts heal and you keep her love and spirit alive.
