Constellation Taurus (The Bull)

Taurus or The Bull is one of the 88 constellations modern astronomers have divided the sky into. It's part of the Zodiac constellation family. Taurus is best seen in January (from latitudes +90° to -65°)

This constellation is easy to locate because Orion’s belt points toward Aldebaran, the alpha star and the eye of the bull. The Pleiades star cluster farther to the northeast marks the animal’s shoulder. The ancient Egyptians associated the Bull with Osiris, god of life and fertility. In Greek mythology, the Bull is one of Zeus’ disguises. People born under the sign Taurus are said to be generous, loyal, patient, and persistent.
